Start with the model, not the brand
Write down your phone’s full model name before you browse. Two phones from the same brand can have different sizes, camera layouts and connections. For a case or screen protector, compare the listing’s compatibility list with that exact model. A similar-looking name is not enough.
Think about how you actually use it
For a case, decide whether grip, a slim shape, a card holder or a stand matters most. For a cable, measure the distance from the socket to where you use your phone. For a desk stand, think about whether you need to see the screen while charging. Choose the feature you will use, rather than the longest feature list.
Check the whole charging setup
Match the cable’s connectors to both your phone and the charger. Read the phone maker’s charging guidance and compare it with the accessory’s stated compatibility. A connector that fits does not, by itself, promise a particular charging speed. Check whether the listing includes a plug, cable, both or neither.
Read the selected option before checkout
Listings may group several models, lengths or colours together. Recheck the option in your basket, the seller, delivery cost and return conditions. Treat claims such as “universal” or “fast charging” as things to verify against your device.
